"Y/N's just not a Farmer, ******. He has too much of his father in him." Y/N is an unremarkable boy, the oldest of nearly a dozen adopted children by an admittedly wonderful woman deep in the heart of Texas, which means he has to take up lots of responsibility around the farm. Feeding animals, making sure his siblings are off to bed, and what seems to be an annoyingly frequent thing: fighting the neighbor boys. But his life is about to change. The year is 1991 and Y/N is turning eleven. After one particularly intense scuffle with some neighborhood bullies with some possibly magical implications and while nursing a black eye, he gets a letter on the farmhouse doorstep. Inside, is a letter inviting him to a school for gifted children like himself. But with a lone mother figure and seven siblings to help take care of, can he really justify something that may be a scam? Well, when his letter is snatched up by a barn owl a few days later. His path seems picked out for him: He's staying on the farm. Until after dinner that night a magical woman appears from his fireplace and changes his life forever. Follow Y/N's (and by extension your) journey through the magical world of Harry Potter. From the first steps on an entirely new continent in the home of a stranger to the final battle at Hogwarts, his journey won't be an easy one, but it certainly won't be boring. Will he find out who his parents were and why they abandoned him at that orphanage eleven years ago? Will he punch Malfoy in his stupid blonde face? Will he really meet a nice British witch to settle down with like his mom proposed? And most importantly. Will he ever find out what the hell a Hufflepuff is? You can only find out if you read, so get to it ;) [The Harry Potter series and all intellectual property of the universe belong to J.k. Rowling. I only own Y/N and any OCs present in the story]
