After the game and the victory at the pizzeria, the Pickles go home but Laurie tells her father that she would like to quit Softball since she doesn't think she's up to it. Her father reluctantly agrees, but neither of them had noticed that someone, who had returned to the pizzeria to get his phone, had heard them. Four years later the Pickles are still on track winning one game after another, and even if it doesn't seem like it, everyone has changed. In particular Yuwen who is now 17 years old, no longer wears a hat and his cocky attitude has vanished along with his mini me, which have been replaced by the behavior of a somewhat closed person. After finding a family secret Yuwen will do everything to find information about his, always hated, father who disappeared a few days after he was born.
