(( You can read this if you want but this is mostly self indulgence for me and my friend...This was supposed to be a one shot but then I wanted more to read of my friends OC x Darrel... So I wrote more... And more turned into chapters... In chapters turned into an entire book... So if you end up reading it I hope you enjoy haha Been writing this bad boy for two months.))

Three years ago, Victoria "Vic" Harper was a Soc-at least by name. A scandalous pregnancy out of wedlock got her kicked out of her family's pristine world, leaving her to raise her daughter Rosemary alone. With everything she had saved, she bought a small fixer-upper house across the street from the Curtis family. Greasers. Once, that label would've meant everything to her. Now, it doesn't mean much at all.

What began with quiet glances and polite waves over chipped coffee mugs had slowly grown into something more. Darrel Curtis-Darry-has been a steady, silent presence through her hardest days: fixing broken fences, sharing groceries when her paycheck runs short, offering help without asking for anything back.

Victoria never expected to find comfort in cracked sidewalks and grease-stained hands, but she's starting to believe that the life she was thrown into might be exactly where she was meant to land.
