In the close-knit town of Wetherby Hollow, being packless is a red flag. Omegas without protection, Alphas without structure-it's not how things are done around here. After their parents died in a car accident five years ago, Micah stepped in to raise their three younger siblings-two of whom haven't presented yet. Since then, they've been working two jobs, dodging social services, and trying to stay off the town council's radar.
When a newly presented Alpha teenager-Jesse Hale-is dropped off like unwanted baggage by his wealthy, neglectful parents, Micah is roped into fostering him "temporarily." Jesse is quiet, damaged, and angry- but not dangerous. Just lost.
Then his older brother shows up.
