Before he became Optimus Prime, the great leader of Cybertron,
he was merely a slave of entertainment, known only by the code C-372.
Amid the brutal life of the slave markets, his only purpose was to protect his two younger brothers, Toxitron and Blacklaser.
That was, until the day Alpha Trion appeared-
freeing them from their suffering and giving the boy a new name: Orion.

Orion grew up in a warm, loving home,
with a dream of one day becoming an astronomer.
But when he witnessed the rot festering at the heart of Cybertronian society,
he made a different choice-
he chose to become a police officer instead.

It was through that path he came to know Elita-One and D-16 (the future Megatron) in the deepest of ways.

After the shocking assassination of Sentinel Prime,
Orion was chosen as the next bearer of the Matrix,
a decision met with deep mistrust by society-
especially from Ultra Magnus.

He soon found himself standing trial,
in a hearing that felt more like a public execution than a judgment.
And yet-he did not waver.
