It's a well-known fact amongst the three eldest Baudelaire children that Cora is the odd one out; the one that doesn't quite act as though she's even from the same family. Of course, sometimes she literally does just that, pretending that they're mere strangers on the rare occasion that the three go out somewhere without their parents.

But this isn't just what makes Cora so much different from her siblings - first of all, Cora is not an amazing reader, which is the least obvious difference yet probably still biggest when Klaus reads like people breathe, and second, she is very angry.

She isn't angry all the time, only when people do things particularly annoying, when they break her rules, when they make her follow their rules. She doesn't ever want to lash out when she does, but, as her father often says, once the storm is out, you can't force it back in: you just have to wait for it to end and pick up the pieces afterwards.
