Avinash narrowed his eyes. " you were staring the notebook but did you understand the concept" he said irritated by her lack of concentration.

" Its okay. you did your best. i told you right, marks don't matter efforts matter and you worked hard for it. Next time i will give you my notes and we will work harder okay? now don't cry." he said in his softest and lightest voice and explained her like she really was a child.
