Arui Asakura never wanted to play soccer. Detached and quiet, he lived in the shadows of others' ambition-until one fateful summer, when a single manga sparked something buried. Inspired by the iron-willed defender Oliver Aiku from Blue Lock, Arui transfers to a new school, stepping onto the pitch with no expectations-just curiosity.

But what starts as imitation slowly twists into transformation.

With sharp instincts, unreadable movements, and a golden-brown eye that awakens under pressure, Arui discovers a hidden style all his own-defense that bites back, like a trapdoor spider. As rivals emerge, more unstoppable enemy and theirs chaotic offense, Arui is forced to go beyond what Aiku ever was.
