Dedicated to @hufflepiffgirl, who sat with me five years ago and planned the original idea for this, which was a little less extreme. Long awaited. Well deserved. If you ever read this, thanks for everything, H, my favourite Hufflepuff. 💛
Bellatrix Black, eldest daughter of Cygnus Black and Druella Black (née Rosier) of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, is just like the rest of her family. She, like any self respecting, well bred, well raised Pureblood, hates muggles, half-bloods, half-breeds, blood traitors and mudbloods. They were beneath her. Their blood tainted and dirty. They were nothing to her. She would be powerful and prosperous. All she had to do was listen to her parents, her family. Listen and learn. Obey. Because they knew best right?
Everyone has limits. No one can predict what will happen when they are reached.
A mirror with too many cracks will break, and a tapestry with too many loose stings will unravel.
TW: Drinking, Smoking, Cursing, Mentions of Self Harm, Abuse and Violence (+minor graphic depictions of injuries).
If any of these topics make you uncomfortable, I strongly advise you to find another fic.
Reader discretionary is advised.
I will be trying to stick to canon for things like ages and timelines, but there will be several changes with the likes of ships and certain character aspects/ lives.
All rights of anything straight from the Harry Potter universe reserved to JKR 😒
Thank you.

(Y/n) (l/n): the living, breathing example of a perfect Slytherin. A pureblood from a wealthy family, an A-grade student, a sworn rival to the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and a close friend of Regulus Black.
Her sixth year at Hogwarts was expected to be just that: perfect. But throw in a project and a match made in hell, and (y/n) is stuck working with the infamous Sirius Black.
(Y/n) had her last years at Hogwarts planned to her liking, but with the Marauders around, of course, nothing ever goes as expected.
To think it all started because of a project...
