King Akiyo, a non-magic user who hates all magical beings and wishes for their demise. With an iron fist, he demands that those who have magic in their blood are to be wiped from Earth, including children and elders. 

Neijiro Umemoto was just 10 years old when his village was decimated, his parents killed, and his sister taken from him to be a prisoner in King Akiyo's city. Unable to understand why his parents had to die and why his sister was kidnapped, he vows revenge upon the cold, ruthless man. 

But as he gets closer and closer to the truth behind why he was spared and why King Akiyo hates magic so much, the truth may not be the kind of closure that he oh so wishes for. Perhaps some secrets are better left buried...?
