Reyna Tyrell has the makings of the perfect queen. Tywin Lannister believes he's bested House Tyrell when his daughter is chosen to be queen after Robert's Rebellion, the new king having chosen Cersei over Reyna. The Old Lion quickly learns that things are not as they seem when he encounters the cunning daughter of Olenna Tyrell, who makes it very clear that she's never been out for a crown but to be the wife of the most powerful man in the world. After a chance encounter a year later following the birth of the crown prince, Tywin Lannister finds himself pursued by the young woman and gives in, seeing the opportunity to have a bride shoulder the legacy he's worked so hard to create. However, Reyna's obvious popularity and affection from her husband makes her a target of the Lannister queen. What happens when Tywin returns to the political arena nearly twenty years later to protect his legacy that his daughter has nearly destroyed?
