Dreams. An experience shared by every human being who has ever lived. Stimuli created by the subconscious generating a visual, auditory, lucid and even fleeting sensation. We can say that we are familiar with the concept.
Hasn't it ever happened to you, that you have a dream which you vividly remember when you wake up? That, in a few seconds, minutes, or even instantly... You forget?
There are those who refer to the set of events as "the world of dreams". There are even people who have reached that place awake. Those that parents, teachers, and authority figures refer to as those who find themselves "with their heads in the clouds".
What would you think, dear reader, if I told you that that world is....

In our world, We have a simple life, To people go to school, working on their jobs and having a company and so on and so forth. And the evolution of our planet earth kept on evolving.....but...have you ever wondered? When you where a kid you always thought that there's superheroes in our world that can fly and shoot lasers out of they're eyes. But that's just a fictional. Heck monsters and Giants are nothing but folklore and story's, They're just made up. There is no such thing as a zombie, ghost or even flowers that can talk or trolls walking around in the dark woods. Or even mythical creatures such as griffins, unicorns, mermaids, dragons ect. They aren't real, they are just stories and fantasy and nothing else....they are nothing else but a myth. But....What if.. What if...it wasn't? But instead it came from another world. And that world is what you have dreamed off, and not just one... millions of different world's and different possibility, a cartoonish world to dragon's and wizards. Or just straight up similar to our planet but without the letter H. These are called.... Dimensions. Now then. You're probably wondering what this place is? To answer that, we must go to the past. 4.5 billion years in the future from our current time, Earth's sun began to expand from burning up all its fuel. Humanity, having managed to get their act together and advance space travel, avoided their extinction and evacuated the planet, feeling their solar system out unto the stars. Many years passed by in stasis and in future generations. Eventually, humanity found themselves a new home. But alas, nothing worth having is easy to keep. Extradimensional entities known as Developers, named as such due to them being the closest biological thing you could get to a genuine god, appeared in humanity's new home. With their metaphysical, reality warping abilities, they changed the world over. Combining the new planet with 3 others in such a manner that multiple dimensions and timeliness were rolled into one like a bunch of star bursts that were pressed and twisted together before being shaped into a ball. Thus, it resulted in the reality bending world named Asteria! Strap in ladies and gentlemen, this is gonna get crazy. (Author's note: There are many references to other, more familiar games, movies, books, and others. This includes character names and back stories, weapons, character abilities, and even in universe power system mechanics that resemble or are inspired by other media. Every single one of these references, allusions, and inspired aspects reserve any and all rights to the original owners. The only things that I own here are the general lore of the world.) (I will also say this is a narrative story adapted from a TTRPG campaign that I am currently running with a system I made. Players may come and go as they please, which will result in characters disappearing from the rest of the story. When the Dasyhat war happened, the world made a truce and joined hands to defeat the devil's army. For the first time in history, mankind united under the banner of the Alliance. Even though decades have passed, the war between humans and demons still shows no signs of ending. Although the dimensional gates are no more, their existence seems endless due to rapid reproduction. Because of that too, the hybridization of humans and demons is inevitable. These hybrids look like normal humans but, with demonic blood flowing through their bodies cause them to have extraordinary magical powers. Their behavior is the same as normal humans. However, if their hearts are enveloped in darkness, they will turn into complete demons. Since then, magical powers were born and the royal side of the Alliance saw this group as a threat to humanity and called them witches. In order to overcome the extinction of humanity, the leadership of the Alliance created the order of the Witch Hunt to find and kill every witch no matter what they look like. Due to the order, witches rebelled to protect themselves and their loved ones until a civil war broke out. Due to the war, many lives were lost and many witches were enveloped in darkness and turned into demons. Since that day, the human race has suffered greatly. The Alliance and wizards alike consider them a threat. The hatred and revenge between them still remains to this day. With so many chains of hatred, can all humans be reunited?
