Ariadne first died when she was seven years old. In the world between world, she made a bargain with death, and was reborn.

Ten years later, she survives in the shadows of Los Angeles as a nameless vigilante completing the wills of the dead. By day, she's just Ariadne, hungry and hunted and alone.

When her violence draws the attention of SHIELD, Ariadne is pulled into a world she never thought she would be apart of. Given a new purpose, she learns how to serve the living while Death still follows her every step.

But as old evils rise and a greater war begins to take shape, Ariadne leaves the shadows to fight in the light as a hero; an Avenger. Between the dead who call to her and the living who need her, she must decide what she truly is:

A hero or a weapon.
