For as long as Melissa Johnson can remember, her life and Peter Parker's had been intertwined- at least since the third grade anyway. Their friendship stayed strong throughout years of birthdays and break ups, long nights studying and their fair share of rule breaking. Everything in Melissa's life seemed to be coming together, she finally has a decent paying job in a company she adores, her friends are finally getting along, and her grades aren't too bad either.

Except for one thing; a masked vigilante has started sweeping the streets. After causing numerous delays to the OSCORP project she had been assigned to, Melissa makes it her personal mission to find this "Spider-Man" and turn him in. Not that it's going to be an incredibly easy task with her best friend distancing himself, the school work piling up, and issues at home.
