Underneath the Waves and Hidden From the Sun

Remy hadn't thought about what his life would be like after he'd reached adulthood. He'd already lived on the island that connected to the mainland in one spot since he was a small child---he didn't even remember how old he was when he was left on the island alone. But now, there was one thing that he hoped life had in store for his adulthood.

Rogue had always been taught that humans would only ever want her dead. But if that were the case, than why did the human boy only ever save her? Save the other beings that got stuck, or trapped by human devices meant to kill them? Why was he so cute whenever he got frustrated with his gardening? Who was he, and why was her heart so set on him?
