I've actually been cooking up this one for a while. It was my favorite manga (until I recently read Fullmetal Alchemist) so I naturally tried to insert myself.
Introducing Natsu the dragonborn, the strange 19 year old psuedo-schizophrenic Hybrid generation fire officer rookie with unknown origins. I realized the reference halfway through chapter 5, leave me alone. I forgot to make a timeline for this one so I'm just winging it.
Unsure of his aspirations, Natsu Kusakabe (no relation) was content with protecting his not-so-little not-brother. While his companions bombard him with ideals, Natsu is now tasked with finding the origin behind the human combustion phenomenon while finding himself in the process. Irresponsibly dumped with the weight of the world, will Natsu come to solve either problem in time? Probably. But how though?

Mira tells her, grabbing her arm and leading her to the door. "Eh? But Mira-" "Go Lucy." She pushes her out of the guild doors. "What has that Baka done now?" She mumbles, heading back home.
