Save Me
I never felt wanted - or loved for that matter - since I was little. You see my parents divorced when I was little, if you consider my dad running out on us a divorce. Then yes, they were divorced. It wasn't until years later that my mom stopped looking at me. She told me "it was all my fault" that dad left and after a while, I began to believe her. As I grew older I found my mom's love for me had vanished. That's when I changed. I felt that if my own mother couldn't love me, then who could. Over the course of time I changed everything about myself. I changed my whole wardrobe, my hairstyle, even my body. I changed so much, that by the age of sixteen, I lost my virginity to a boy who was just using me. I cried myself to sleep for months after that - I still do. Time has passed and I still pretend that I'm not bothered by other girls' remarks about me. How they call me a “whore” and “worthless”. I put up with it all because I think - no, I know - it's true. I'm seventeen now and I feel myself drowning in a pool of my problems. I need to be saved: Not from my past, but from myself.Complete
Square One
My life is like the concept of a cheap umbrella, when you least expect it, all protection from the storm seems to dissolve and collapse in front of you. Like the melting point of an eruption in a volcano, where as if all the self hatred and disgust you’ve built up over the years is on the urge of pouring over and destroying everything in its path. My history is something I’m not surprised isn’t in the text books because not only does the phrase ‘being in the wrong place at the wrong time’ describe me as a person, it describes my life. It’s like a cycle that keeps repeating itself. Picture this. I’m walking on the train tracks and the only way I can save myself is to let go, to fall, so I take a step forward in the arms of faith only to be knocked back down again to square one. And that’s where I stayed. So forget the history text books, you won’t find loss of trust and love in the context page, because history is a load of useless bull that no one will ever need in life. At age 12, I looked into a tall antique mirror- it was the first time I had a notion that my brain and my soul are separate things- Consciousness. Who is this person looking at me in the mirror? her eyes are brown, she is smiling.. why is she smiling? why is she sad? at times her eyes are empty- who is she? or who is? Why is it looking at me in the mirror? why don't I feel that we are One? Earth is not Home. This is becoming apparent each day, if it was, it would be a whirlwind of crazy, but the earth is a good training ground, in here are clues that we need to pick up. If you interact with humans you would know that you won't be able to understand them. People always say be yourself and be happy in your own skin right? Well it's hard to be happy with yourself when your me. When people always stare at you, make remarks and embarrass you. You put on a brave face to cover the pain but the pain will escape one day. When I think about the past I know that things happen for a reason, but sometimes these thing make you feel alone, worthless, like you are alone even if you are surrounded by people who say they will be there for you no matter what. Then when you reach for them you find that they are too far away to reach out for. You are left alone, stranded, drowning, without anyone wanting to get to you. So you grow used to being alone, not relying on anyone. Then someone comes by that you wish you could trust, but you can't. You hold onto the past and guard yourself when it isn't needed. You become a shadow of your past self. Smiling without feeling it becomes a pattern, soon the people who claim to know you no longer tell the difference between the mask and the true broken self. So when they try to get to you, they fail, unable to understand why, they leave. Saying that you are acting funny, not yourself. If only they knew the self that they see now is the broken part that remains left. That's who I am now. A shadow of who I used to be.Complete

Think just for a sec... look at the person you know is the most useless out of you all. What do you think they will be when they get older. The typical crappy jobs no one wants but than there's those people who really think thing through. Who knew that kid might come and save your life, maybe even save the world. "There are five races of humans. First, is the golden race. Although they are mortal, they live their lives like gods. This race doesn't have to worry about the burden of a heart and pain. Once dead, members of this race become pure spirits. As spirits, they are the guardians of mankind. Second, is the silver race. This race is stupid, and all they do is hurt one another both physically and mentally. Their spirits do not live beyond the grave. Third, is the brass race. This race is filled with terrible people, who have the gift of godlike strength. This race love war and violence, and therefore destroy their own race by their own hands. When they die, they are sent to the isles of the blessed, where they live in perfect bliss forever. Fifth, is the iron race. This is the race that dominates and lives out all their lives on Earth. This race lives in a time of evil and also have an evil nature, they never have rest from toil and sorrow. As the generations pass, each new generation is more and more inferior to the previous. One day, they will become so wicked; that they'll worship power; might will be all that matters; and reverence for the good will cease to be. If anyone disobeys the rules and regulations of their race, then it is said the mighty Zeus will eliminate any man who is not angry or who feels shame when in the presence of the miserable." Tethered
Bright lights, the beat of the music beneath my feet. Distant chatter, quite whispers. The feeling of joy, loss, heartbreak, and loneliness surround me. Buried in a crowd, drowning under the gazes of people who look through you. I am but of glass, a mirror if you will, willing to be seen through, but not seen. Screaming in a room full of people when no one can hear you, let alone see you. Hidden breaths, rising, falling. Isn't that funny, falling? Laughing would be easier than standing here in the crowded place, filled with people, faces, judging every moment the other makes. I could tell you the peace I get standing alone in a room filled with people who only see you as a mirror for who they don't want to be. I could cry tears of blood, and non would ever so much bat an eye in my direction, but I love it. The feeling of being unseen as to appose being seen for the matieral object I once was. Silent, unmoving, unwilling. I am but an idea, glass, shatterable, broken beyond compare. But strong, resistance flows through me. Willing me to be the best I can be, but can I? Who says I make sense, who says I am even me, am I? That's a question I spent years wondering. Who would I be without these scars that tether my skin, marking each even, like a calender. To mend the feelings people have isn't a easy thing, but to break is easy, always easy. How easy it is to forget, to run. I can feel the ground beneath my feet, feel the soil in-between the crooks of my toes, I could describe to you the smell of the rain. Pinpoint the center of the earth, but as I stand here, again amongst the crowd of people stand in this room. I am lost again, an idea, but for what purpose? If I could run, navigate my way through this crowd, I would seek refuge somewhere dark and cold, where I could take off this cloak and be one with who I am, or want to be.
