Copper-9 is a dead planet with the only remaining semblance of life being the non-biological Drones from the colonies. However, it once was a planet thriving with life, evident by the cities. Many scientists from all over the Earth and other human colonies across galaxies were in cryopods when the core of the planet exploded.
However, one of those humans was not, well, human. What it was was an alien organism with a sole purpose to assimilate and mimic anything and everything biological lifeform on a planet. "The THING", a highly intelligent, strong, and hard-to-kill organism, had perfectly assimilated a person before being induced into a cryogenic slumber. However, as we know, the planet is dead, with no organic life. What will happen with its entire purpose is now stripped away from it, and it has to create a new one? As well as help the cast of murder drones against the other eldritch horror on the planet.
Will the Thing, now known as y/n, help the cast against a fellow eldritch being, or will it join them? Find out. its the thing (IIIIINNNNN SPAAAAAAAAAAACE)
(Obviously, all characters from murder drones belong to Glitch and Liam, respectively, as well as all the art, with the addition of John Carpenter's film rights of "The Thing," as well as any art I may use for the chapters.)
(final note, if you're squeamish to body horror or just to any level of "Gore" then this story may not be for you because it's literally just the thing from the film, so there's going to be some of that in this story. not a lot but just a trigger warning y'all. With that, enjoy the story!)

years after the destruction of planet earth, all remaining humans were brought to an exoplanet known as Cooper-9. this was a planet currently under the jurisdiction of the company JCjenson in spaaaaacee!!! whilst the main front for the exoplanet was for it to simply be mined off its excess resources, the most abundant being u-235 otherwise known as uranium. with the pure bounty of uranium the humans had acquired they ended up constructing an artificial intelligence purely powered by the nuclear substance. it controlled and oversaw everything until the faithful day when the exoplanet imploded, killing all human life and plunging the exoplanet into an eternal winter. this event also caused the AI to shut down leaving the only sentient life alive, the worker drones, to build a new life for themselves, starting families, building shelter, and prospering in their new way of life. however it was all short lived as the company, not enjoying the fact that they had rouge ai left alive on the now dead exoplanet, thus resulting in the creation of the disassembly drones, their jobs were to exterminate any and all remaining worker drones until the planet was left truly dead... let's see how that played out.Concluida

(y/n) is a special kind of worker drone. He was born/created as a prototype or model that thinks faster and is more intelligent than others. He likes to invent things, be creative, and learn. He is also Uzi's cousin from his mother's side. He even made himself a suit to blend in with other disassembly drones before making the A.S.M.D.K. (Absloute Solver Murder Drone Killer). All of that helped him save Copper 9 and all his friends/family. He defeated the Absolute Solver entity for good, saved Cyn, and basically became Robo Jesus. He has gotten 2 girlfriends, V and Cyn. It seems like it will be happily ever after.... but they were wrong. A year after the defeat of the solver, a new threat was rising. Drones that were meant to represent monsters people loved in myths, legends, and movies started to attack the colony for unknown reasons. Now (y/n), Uzi, N, V, Cyn, and others have to fight once again to protect their home. Why did these attacks happen? Is there a connection? The real question might be... He meets the real ones and they bought his story of being a prototype of one of them. He learns about them before they would learn what he really is. How would he affect the story?
