Class 1-A had just settled into their dorms. Tsu had spoken with the Kamino rescue squad, and things finally seemed to have calmed down. Everyone had retreated to their rooms, and several were already sleeping soundly.
But that wasn't the case for Izuku Midoriya.
The young successor to One for All stood lost in thought on her balcony. She knew the world was going to change with her mentor's retirement - she just didn't know what she was supposed to do next as his successor. Gazing at the stars one last time before heading to bed, she silently wished for some guidance... something to show her what to do now.
What she didn't know was that someone - or something - was listening.
Upon waking, Class 1-A, Class 1-B, the Big Three, the U.A. teachers, and several Pro Heroes find themselves in a strange place, welcomed by a mysterious man who offers them a chance to face the future.
But first... they'll have to confront the past - and learn from it.

Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying.
