Hundreds of pictures deck the walls of my room. A year ago, the walls would have stood barren. It’s insane what one year can do to a person, especially someone like me. I usually keep to myself. I was ever so lonely before—well. Let’s start it off simple. With the facts. My name is Rose. I am now a sophomore in high school. I go to Lakeshore Academy. Lakeshore Academy is a school for several different things. It’s for people who want a college experience before college. I’m in the process of majoring in oboe. And those are the facts. Well, the important ones. Now, let me tell you the story. It gets a bit complicated.

Rose has run away, - again - she couldn't handle Dimitri not loving her. Even after she gave everything to him. Her secrets, her heart, and even her virginity. And now, she has to live with the consequences. Dhampirs can't have kids together, but WHAT IF they could, and did, but Dimitri was oblivious to this? Damon, her son, and Mariah, her daughter, are different though from the rest of vampires. How can her children be in so much danger, and be so innocent? More importantly, why? (OK! I know that dhampirs can't have kids together, but I thought that it would make an interesting story!!!!) - READ, LEAVE COMMENTS ON IF I SHOULD WRITE MORE!
