Spell number eighteen

For every birthday, a spell. For every year, a choice.

Unfortunately for Maya, this one has all the makings of being the last. The young woman, who has just turned eighteen, is a witch who has lived hidden among mortals for years, but she is not a normal witch, because while the others, if they really existed, could access their magic normally, she can only use one new spell each year. She is used to it, that's how it has always been, but this time is different, because according to a prophecy that has been hidden for years, Maya will not reach nineteen, and that changes everything. This time, she has until the thirty first of December to find a spell that will either save her life or break the curse and allow her to access her magic again like any other witch.

It seems easy enough, but the arrival of the attractive and mysterious Caiden will complicate things, because when survival and love collide, the lines between what one wants to do and what must be done become difficult to distinguish.
