Except sometimes she wonders what it would feel like if she did.

Because hatred shouldn't feel like this. It shouldn't make her heart race. It shouldn't keep her up at night, thinking about the way his eyes darken when they fight, or the way his voice dips when he calls her by her name like it's a secret.

It shouldn't make her wonder if he hates her just as much.

Especially not Anne.

And especially not Sebastian.
