"A lot of girls like bad boys, but that's not really my type. I love me a gentle ass man." "One like me?" Nic asked with a grin splattered on his face as he looked at Olandria. She turned to him, starting into his eyes--they were quite pretty eyes, and squeezed her face in a 'be serious' way. "You not a gentleman, in fact you everything but one." She laughed. "But I could be, for the right girl I mean" He shrugged, moving closer to her. "And you think I'm the right girl?" "Not think. Know."

Inspired by Season 7 of Love Islanda USA contestants, Olandria and Nic. She was a girl. And he was a boy. Can I make it anymore obvious? He was a basketball player. And she was a straight-A student. What more can I say? A lot. In her senior year of high school, Olandria is ripped from everything she knows in Decatur, Alabama, and forced to start over in Jacksonville, Florida. Her goal for the school year is simple: avoid the drama and graduate quietly. But that plan unravels the moment she meets Nic-the school jokester and star point guard with a clingy girlfriend (situationship?). When she starts her own tutoring business, Nic becomes her first client, and she discovers there's more behind his cheeky smile and wayward ways. He might even be...wait....no. This is not the plan. Will she shut down the budding romance to keep her promise of staying under the radar, or will she betray her better judgment and fall for the school jokester? Perhaps the oldest daughter might finally choose herself.
