Bound in Blood, Bound in Love

In my AU version of Sinners, everything changes the night of the Juke Joint. Instead of ending in bloodshed, Annie casts a powerful binding spell that forever ties Remmick to the Moore family, forcing him into the role of their eternal protector. No longer their predator, he becomes their shield. Haunted by what he nearly destroyed, yet desperate to make amends.

With Stack Remmick's cunning abilities, Remmick purchases a property where the Moores can finally live free from the plantation. Sammie chooses to leave the farm behind and move into the estate, though he still carries deep resentment toward Remmick for what happened that night. Smoke and Annie finally reunite and live openly as husband and wife. Mary and Stack, now turned into vampires themselves, learn to navigate their new immortal lives together, leaning on each other for strength. Meanwhile, Kali's (my oc who I'll talk more about in the story!) father and brother move off their farm and into a new home, their debts to their fathers "employer" erased by Remmick (he oofed him 🥲). Kali visits often, keeping one foot in both worlds - the normal life she once had, and the strange new life tethered to the man she can't seem to let go of.

As the family struggles to redefine their bonds, tensions rise. Love, regret, loyalty, and guilt hang heavy over the Moore estate. And at the center of it all is Kali and Remmick - a love once built on lies, now trapped in the web of fate, neither fully free nor fully broken.
