They watch as she throws cleaver after cleaver, each one with meticulous precision and brutal force. The projections pixelate almost rhythmically, one after another as she hits their abdomens and crania in turn.
"Didn't she receive an antidote from a sponsor?" Katniss asks in confusion, she had watched snippets of the young girls games.
Beetee hums, "Yes, the antidote prevented her from dying...the Capitol didn't bother to take away the side effects however. Hallucinations, voices in her head, anger. They've manipulated her perspective of reality to make her more entertaining...that girl has been groomed into the perfect Capitol weapon from the inside outwards."
