This is book 1 of The End Tales. This story takes place in 2029, in the city of Babel. It follows Alex a man trying to obtain a mental vacation of life, as he tries to avoid his past. Taking a quest that he hopes will give him the money needed to buy supplies and leave for good, he is uncaptured in feelings towards someone, feelings he can't explain to even himself. Babel, the city, has its own social problems brewing as they make the consequential decision: should they industrialize or magicalize? What even is magicalization?
These questions are asked by the council. How will these ideas of Magic face the human council of Babel?
