Sloane Ballenger hates herself. Her will to live has slowly declined throughout high school, and she tries to take her own life not long after her 18th birthday. Her worried mother sends her to the local hospital, presumably to then send her to a psychiatric hospital. Sloane is terrified of the prospect of leaving Forks and her mother. However, while in her local hospital, Sloane meets Doctor Carlisle Cullen, an acting psychiatrist for her case who decides it would be best for her stay in Forks. Unease turns to trust, which turns into something much more than trust. Will one of them confess? Or will they stay in the dark about each other's feelings forever...
In this story, Carlisle will only be her doctor for when they meet, he will NOT be her main doctor. Basically, it's not one of those toxic doctorxpatient codependency core relationships.

But now, she had a new chance at life, and she was determined to make the most of it. She was surprised when the Cullen family offered to take her in, and Luna had always been fascinated by them, ever since her mother had introduced her to the family a few years ago. But now, she was going to be living with them, but she wasn't sure how she felt about that. Luna had never been able to fully come to terms with her mother's death, and it had only added to her depression. But then she met a special someone. He was a boy from the nearby reservation, and he was kind and funny. He also had a secret. She was shocked when she found out, but she couldn't deny the feelings she had for him.
