I had this gut feeling that I couldn't shake. I felt the best I had in weeks, and I looked it too. But I couldn't help but feel like I shouldn't be here. Like this was all a huge mistake.
And I hadn't known why at the time, but looking back, maybe it was my subconscious telling me to get the hell out of there before I met him.
Maybe the universe was trying to do me a solid for once, and prevent my life from going to hell more than it already had.
One day I'd learn to listen to those feelings. To go home when the energy felt off.
That night, however, was not the day for any type of learning.
