Shaa Rivers never expected much from her life. Sixteen, sarcastic, book AND street smart, playing pretend~ until a late application lands her at Stark Industries for the most competitive internship in the country.
What just starts as an internship quickly spirals into.... chaos.
She didn't plan to impress Tony Stark. She definitely didn't mean to become his favorite. And she most certainly never thought she'd find herself slowly earning the trust of Avengers who don't even trust each other.
There's coffee at 2AM with Barnes, trivia wars with Banner, emotional damage cleanup with Romanoff, the vents DUH and Peter Parker who keeps swinging by (literally) and dropping from ceilings like it's normal.
And ofcourse the gossiping fellow interns...
Also, Thor might have thrown her an Asgardian adoption ceremony.
No big deal... right?
...Except suddenly, being a "nobody" isn't really an option anymore.
And Shaa? She's about to learn that even broken things can be wanted, without needing to be fixed, specially in the Tower where chaos is the baseline and family means more then DNA.

She knew that her life would be different, working with the worlds most notoriously egocentric man, hell superhero, but she didn't care.
