They don't kill you at Elridge ,not in any way that leaves a body to bury or a soul to mourn. If they're feeling merciful, the lake becomes your grave, swallowing every trace and leaving behind only the lie that you chose to end it. They don't kill you. They unmake you.Piece by piece, they blur the line between law and lie, twist reality until your own reflection is a stranger.They bend rules, shape people, rewrite stories.They make you believe some sins can be forgiven. And when their grip begins to slip,they consume you, tear you apart and end you. But there's nothing left for them to devour, nothing left to break, and I'm far too dead for them to kill. Now I understand. The truth was never salvation, only my damnation. The Circle is my cage and tearing them down is the only way out.
