Cassandra Moon is Mystic Falls' sweetheart - with a voice as sweet as an angel and a heart as gentle as the rain. Winning people over was never something she tried to do; it just happened.
One day, she wakes up in a world thought to be fiction - a world teeming with bloodthirsty creatures, twisted destinies, and a fragile balance between good and evil - and is tasked with saving the said creatures by a certain "Goddess".

Does she have what it takes to fulfil her purpose? Will her kindness be enough to handle the hurdles sent her way? Will her warmth melt the coldest of hearts? Can her naive heart weather the storm, or will she, too, be swallowed by the darkness, just like the very beings she was sent to save?
