Kortnie thought she was just having a sugar crash after downing her seventh Pocky stick. But when she wakes up in a world dimly lit by moral ambiguity, detective monologues, and intense stares over potato chips, she realizes something's off. Very off.
She's in Death Note.
Not as a new Shinigami. Not as a secret mastermind. Nope. Just... as herself-an overly energetic, sweet-obsessed otaku who can't stop humming songs and quoting JoJo lines, dropped smack in the middle of Light Yagami's calculated crusade and L's sugar-fueled investigation.
Armed with nothing but her chaotic energy, obscure anime references, and an unmatched ability to make any situation ten times more confusing than it needs to be, Kortnie finds herself inexplicably tangled in the heart of the Kira case.
And she doesn't even remember most of the plot.
Will she befriend L or annoy him into early retirement? Will Light see her as a threat or just a walking distraction? And how many times can one girl be kidnapped in one timeline before everyone collectively gives up?
One thing's for sure: the Death Note universe has never faced a variable quite like Kortnie. And Kira may have met his most confusing challenge yet.
