"You are to marry the Princess of Mizan. It's the only way our kingdom will survive." His father said, already sending maids to pack Shoto's bags for the Kingdom of Mizan.

"I'm not doing that to someone who's ego is bigger than a dragon's." Shoto said, shaking his head. He didn't want to lie to a woman who was entitled and a 'brat'. That's what everyone told him, including Izuku Midoriya, his best friend since he was a child. He turned on his heel and left, going to his room to grasp what he was just told and to breathe.

"Promise me you'll never lie Shoto." Beni said, looking up at him with those red eyes that never failed to make him want to pour his whole heart out to her.

"I promise." He said, even if he was lying to her in the moment. He still said it, he couldn't watch her break down again, not again. He wouldn't be able to handle it.

A story where Shoto Todoroki has to marry his so called "Enemy". But things take a turn when he realizes how wrong people describe her and suddenly, he couldn't do it. He couldn't break her heart, not after the smile she gave him, even if it was slightly forced.
