I wrote this short story in March 2015. It was inspired by many terrifying nights and morning spent in my kitchen being almost frozen with paranoia. I'm glad to say that this has never actually happened to me, but sometimes I'm quite sure it will. Please enjoy a journey into one of my horrible fears: My kitchen.
