Above the Waves

Jemima Ainsley an independent, adventurous eleven-year-old British girl sets sail, from her wealthy grandfather's mansion in London, England through the Atlantic Ocean to the new colonial city of Boston, Massachusetts. Meeting Jacob Winslow a mischievous, quiet lad and his poor family will open her up a door to harsh reality, as well as to show her, her own cruelty and selfishness. Aboard of the "Prisma" Jemima will get much more than just a sprinkle of independence, she'll find true everlasting freedom as God shows her that she can't take control of neither others nor her situation but to let all her burden upon Him. Together with her strict, proud mother, steadfast older brother Lemuel, her spoilt, dainty little sister and new friends she'll face more than one trouble and joy as she crosses the ocean to the new land of America.
