Jemima Ainsley an independent, adventurous eleven-year-old British girl sets sail, from her wealthy grandfather's mansion in London, England through the Atlantic Ocean to the new colonial city of Boston, Massachusetts. Meeting Jacob Winslow a mischievous, quiet lad and his poor family will open her up a door to harsh reality, as well as to show her, her own cruelty and selfishness. Aboard of the "Prisma" Jemima will get much more than just a sprinkle of independence, she'll find true everlasting freedom as God shows her that she can't take control of neither others nor her situation but to let all her burden upon Him. Together with her strict, proud mother, steadfast older brother Lemuel, her spoilt, dainty little sister and new friends she'll face more than one trouble and joy as she crosses the ocean to the new land of America.

17-year-old Abigail Wells, known as Abbie, is shipped off to live with her estranged mother. The same woman whom Abbie has not seen since she was about three years old. Abbie's dad, Keith, is not a good guy and hates her passionately. Her home life was not good growing up yet he was the only parent she has ever known. Her only constant. Adeline Cobwell, Abbie's mother, lives in a small town, Reef's Paradise located in Florida. As the name indicates, the town is sort of a paradise for people residing there. Hidden alcove of a town, separated from busy cities surrounding it. The local saying, 'once you are here, you never want to leave,' is something all townsfolk here adhere to. Just like any other small town, Reef's Paradise has its own stories and secrets. Most of such stories are known to all the residents but unknown to the newcomer, Abbie. One such intriguing story is about the Light House, located at the far end of the town on a deserted beach. There is something about the stories, and the Light House itself that attracts Abbie even before she finds out a secret, hiding in it. This is a story about Abbie's journey to self-discovery, to learn what love and care truly mean. Being a teenager is not easy nor is peeling off layers of masks, especially when you have them on for so long. When anger is the only emotion Abbie's known to express for so long things are bound to explode. This is my first story here. Comments and feedback are appreciated. At Blackwood Academy, excellence isn't just expected-it's demanded. Known for producing some of the brightest minds, the school is a battlefield where only the strongest thrive. Kylie Cantrall rules Blackwood's social scene with a sharp tongue and an iron fist. She has the looks of an angel and a voice to match, but one wrong move around her, and you'll wish you never existed. She's ruthless, feared, and-unfortunately for her-under constant pressure. Her father, Principal Cantrall, expects nothing less than perfection, and he won't tolerate failure. Then there's Malia Baker, Blackwood's golden girl. Top grades, flawless reputation, and a face that could bring anyone to their knees. While Kylie claws her way up the academic ranks, Malia sits comfortably at the top, her record unshaken, her success effortless. And Principal Cantrall? He adores her. Which only fuels Kylie's hatred. Kylie has spent years trying to outshine Malia, but no matter how hard she tries, Malia's grades remain untouchable. So she turns to other methods-pranks, sabotage, even stealing boyfriends and girlfriends-anything to knock Malia down a peg. But Malia isn't one to be walked over. She fights back just as hard, turning their rivalry into something legendary. Then Kylie's world shatters. Something happens-something she won't talk about-and after that, her grades start to slip. Math, of all things. Her father is furious. His punishments are brutal, and this time, he's done playing games. His solution? Kylie is forced to move into the school dorms. The worst part? Her new roommate is Malia Baker. Trapped under the same roof, their rivalry is bound to explode. But as the lines between hatred and something else start to blur, they're left with one question-will they destroy each other, or will something unexpected bloom in the chaos?
