Zoya Petrakov was a tangled mess of monster and person. A cobbled together mixture of boiling blood and gnashing teeth, all combined into the shape of a human being. A chewed up survivor of the Red Room with power in her veins and bloodlust in her eyes. More weapon than woman. So when Valentina tells her that she needs to take out John Walker, she doesn't really bat an eye. What she expects is to kill John Walker (duh). What she doesn't expect is to find purpose again in the very people she was sent to kill (and some dude in pajamas who was also there for some reason). Maybe some god above had finally listened to her begging (or maybe that was just wishful thinking). After all, a monster is still a monster no matter what label you put on it.
