Chasing Mr Malhotra

"You're leaving?" she asked, the words catching like thorns in her throat.

Virat didn't look up from his suitcase. "I got the Berlin offer. I accepted."

Ananya laughed-sharp, hollow. "Right. Because what's a few months of marriage to you, anyway? You didn't even fight."

He finally turned. Calm. Wounded. Dangerous in his stillness.

"Fight for what, Ananya?" he said. "You never wanted me. You wanted a pawn. A placeholder. A revenge story with cheekbones."

She took a step forward. "Maybe. At first."

Silence.

Then softer. "But I do now."

Virat blinked. Just once. As if the words had cut something open inside him.

"Too late," he said.

She grabbed his wrist, voice shaking. "It's not. I don't care if you hate me. I'm not letting you go."

He smiled then-tired, unfairly beautiful. "Then convince me. Make me stay."

Scene- 2

"What if I make you strip - Mr Malhotra?"

"Umm- a - I - I have work"
He kind of stammered getting up from bed.
She laughed like she never did in years.

"Dare You step out the room and see what I do? I will make sure your boss throws You out of your company" she suppressed her laugh and composes herself warning him.

"Really? Ananya, fine I will strip if you could take it" he starts unbuttoning his shirt with full confidence as he thought she would back off after this but no she smirks and shameless stares at him saying, " Waiting dear husband."
