For decades, Super Earth believed the Illuminate were extinct or scattered remnants of a long-defeated enemy, driven into exile after the First Galactic War. Their worlds were glassed, their fleets shattered, and their elder councils silenced beneath the righteous boot of Managed Democracy. But peace breeds complacency. And shadows, given time, find new forms. But legends lingered. Whispers spoke of a "Great Host" that never arrived, of arcane weapons never deployed, and of a final vengeance waiting to awaken.

Now, the silence breaks.
