"You know..." the voice murmured, laced with ice and heat, slow like velvet over a knife's edge.
"I don't like it when my bird flies out of his cage."

A pause. The smoke exhaled, curling through the silence like a serpent around Taehyung's neck.

"Especially without asking the hand that feeds him."

Taehyung's hands gripped tighter at his shirt, shoulders trembling, lip bleeding anew from another unconscious bite. He still didn't raise his head - couldn't. The weight of that voice was heavier than any chain.

"Who's your master?"
The question came again, quieter, deadlier, pressing directly into the space where dignity trembled.

Taehyung swallowed, throat still raw from earlier,
"You-you are my master."

A pause - and then, a sharper shift. Fingers gripped his chin, not gently - forcing his face up, dragging his gaze out of the safety of the floor.

"Who's your owner?"
The final question landed like the last lock on a cage door.

Taehyung blinked, lips parting, voice breaking in its surrender:
"You... you, Jeon Jungkook... my owner."
