Married couple Hope and Josie Mikaelson, young surgeons in a prestigious New Orleans hospital, are visited by a ghost from their past.  Bringing turmoil to their lives and the lives of their family, they have to find a way to stop him before he manages to damage their relationship forever.  

However while this is going on Hope becomes ill.  Is it from stress, or something more.  This is an angsty ride full of ups and downs.  Family struggles and a life hanging in the balance.  Will all be ok, or will the Mikaelson's lose their Hope.
