But everything changed during a chase in the rain, when he meets a red eyed hedgehog with a scowl that could melt icebergs. This grouchy hedgehog becomes his savior from his life on the streets, but he still keeps his distance from Sonic, but how long can he, Shadow, keep the ice around his heart before it melts under the warmth of Sonic's grateful smile?

Once a feared, praised 'deity' to a cult, now just a shaking, weak hedgehog who fears death more than his enemies. Who even was he anymore? After killing his only true friend, he awoke centuries later in his tomb, holy water engulfing him. The reality of Shadow's mortality took a tole on him, wracking and haunting him at every turn. It was a normal day for our speedy blue hedgehog and his pals. Eating a chili dog, running around green hill and destroying Eggman's plans like usual. Everything was okay until suddenly, Silver came back from the future and warned everyone that something worst was coming, not just the Chaos Emerald, but the Sol Emeralds and the Master Emerald. Worse than Black Doom or anyone they fought before. Mephiles The Dark has return with new powers and sinister allies that could destroy what Sonic, and everyone been fighting for. Before they could start their search on Chaos Emeralds and fight Mephiles again, the Master Emerald glows up and spoke to them. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).
