Overall, things were fine, normal, mundane even
Until they weren't...
In the Middle of the day, An Eldritch Being arrived to earth, Causing Anyone Caught outside or even looking towards the sky to Change and Mutate.
This story revolves around Residents of an Apartment Building, trapped by this unknowable being
(This is inspired by some horror games I've been playing, Specifically Look Outside, an RPG maker Horror Game. Fear & Hunger, another RPG maker horror game, and World of Horror, more of a Point and Click horror game, I recommend playing these personally)

Among many humans stood a few. Rather usual humans, ones you could find anywhere. Like many, these people flew among the stars, in hopes of safety and stability. What you are about to read has been verified as a first-hand account from one of these individuals. While he is no longer with us, he had requested for his documentation to be published after his passing. --------------------------- Already Inside is a novel adaptation of the online social deduction video game, Among Us. There is a moment before the dream begins where everything feels still. A breath held between worlds. In that moment, time doesn't move forward or backward-it waits. That's where I exist now. In the pause. In the static. I don't remember the exact day I started to vanish. Maybe it was slow. Maybe I was too quiet for the world to notice. They say the mind protects us from things we cannot bear. But what happens when the thing you're running from is yourself? Somewhere, there's a house that doesn't belong to any map. Its windows never reflect sunlight, and its walls curve so gently that you don't realize they're watching you. There's a girl in the mirror who looks like me, but she remembers things I don't. There's a bathtub filled with water so still it feels like a grave. There's a man I created-kind, warm, and perfectly not real. And there's a truth waiting at the end of the hallway. I'm afraid of it. But I think I've always known it. This story is not a confession. It's not a warning. It's just what happens when the silence gets too loud. ⚠️this is a weirdcore/dreamcore type story, so please read with caution if it may cause you to dissociate!!⚠️ A young girl and her little sister have glitched out of reality, and are now in a liminal place. The girl has been here before, and is determined to get herself and her sister out of this place. However, when she runs into old friends, she finds out that she is one of very few humans who has successfully glitched here twice (let alone by accident). Now she needs to find out if 'home' is the place she grew up in, or if she really does belong here. She needs to make some tough choices. Stay here forever and send her little sister out on her own, or leave and risk injury, even death, if she gets taken through the backrooms for a third time after arriving back 'home' to reality. Please also note that I have not created the back rooms, and a lot of the settings I have described are inspired by pictures I've seen on pinterest!Complete

You turn once more to make sure he isn't watching you, before making a run for it. This is the first time you've gotten a chance to escape him in months, and you're so close to reaching the exit when you feel someone pull you back onto a hard chest and holding you in place by a strong grip on your throat. You wince and hold your eyes shut. "Going somewhere darling?" His voice asks. "I thought I told you to behave." His grip on you gets tighter and you moan and whine in pain. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Complete
