Azure Rin was merely fifteen when he got someone close to him killed. Though it was wholly not his fault, it still shrouded him in a guilt which would've lasted his whole life were it not for the events that transpired in a mere happenstance.
It was through a happenstance that Azure Rin reunited with his childhood friend, Rapture Ruby. At first, she asked Rin for help in finding her missing father by going to the forest. However, as they ventured through an abandoned research facility, in became clear that he was about to be implicated in a much, much larger scale of events: a shadow war between two factions of ancient magic wielders - a conflict teetering on the brink of mass extinction - annihilation for humanity.
