It has been almost 250 years since the nuclear World War VI that wiped out the majority of humanity ended. Since then, a government has risen, calling themselves the New Society. It's leaders have told the citizens that their only goals are to achieve absolute perfection, and to repopulate humanity. For almost two hundred years, the people have been told that life outside of the domed society is impossible, because the nuclear and atomic bombs destroyed most of the earth, and tore holes in the atmosphere during the war. The leaders say that the society is all that's left, and justice must be served. It was this that led to all descendants of WWVI leaders to be placed into institutions, where they are tortured and trained to serve their future masters. They are termed entertainers, and at the age of eighteen, they are auctioned off, left to the mercy of their owners. Entertainers are essentially concubines, but any relationship beyond slave and owner is strictly forbidden, and punishable by death. It's a risk many people are not willing to take, but there are exceptions to every rule. Nevaeh Williams has a past unlike the majority of the other entertainers. She's forbidden from sharing her past, but her experience has led her to both fear and despise the New Society. After two years in the institution, she's auctioned off to a young billionaire. Noah Ivanov is withdrawn and mysterious, hiding a secret of his own. As things heat up between them, a shaky truth comes to light that forces them together. A person from their separate yet intertwined pasts comes seems to haunt their every move, and they must secretly fight against the New Society, in order to discover their government's true plans. Can Nevaeh and Noah overcome the odds they face, and bring justice to someone they've both lost? Will they fall in love in the process? And most of all, will they be executed for learning of the New Society's true nature?

From birth, Trinity saw the world differently than her peers. Not that she knew much of her peers in her childhood as she was home-schooled. However, that's all in the past. She has her own business, works hard and all-in-all, she's happy. For the most part, that is. As long as she still has her seclusion for which she has worked hard and values above all else, then she will be fine. If people would just stay away... Leah has been blind her entire life but never let it hold her back as she embraced it with open arms. She hasn't ever known any differently and life is great. Or at least, it could be with these new changes. Moving to a new town, Leah is excited to begin a new life, but her family isn't exactly shy about their protectiveness of her. If only she could be somewhere, anywhere where people would treat her just as they would anyone else. As their paths cross, Leah and Trinity's lives are forever changed, some changes for the better and others still up for debate. People can sometimes surprise us in the most exhilarating of ways, however, and they are just about to find out exactly why. When the Sun Begins to Die by Thatonefnaflover
60 parts Complete Mature
Seventeen year old Cadence Buds is a normal teenager in a dying world. Well, the world isn't dying, but the sun is. It has been dying for several years now, but the effects are finally starting to come about. The sun has even been changing color. The government has been working on a plan to save a portion of the human population for quite some time. There are so many problems with the sun dying. The oceans will evaporate from the inevitable explosion, everything will be dark and nothing will be able to grow, the world will freeze over, everything will be destroyed. The sun is also giving off toxic radiation while it dies, making the world especially dangerous. The government's solution to this problem is to build a radiation proof dome over a large area. There will be synthetic heat, light, and seasons. The cost to enter such an oasis is very expensive. It is hundreds of thousands of dollars per ticket. However, there is another way to get in. Once the sun dies many will die with it. It might even vaporize part of the planet in its blast. No one knows for sure. But the world will need a larger population. You can earn your place in the dome if you agree to have a child to save the human race. This obviously only applies to women. Now remember Cadence? He is biologically female. He has been on testosterone for two years and is trying to transition in this world. Unfortunately that is horribly expensive where he lives. His family however is more focused on saving their lives from the dying sun. His parents had just enough money to afford his sister a ticket. She could not have children because she was barren. Cadence however could have children if he wished, but he didn't. Having a child meant undoing all of his hard work. He is told that in order to survive that he must have a child within the next two years. Two years is a long time, but he never wanted to have children. What will Cadence do once his two years have come to an end?
