Hi, my name is Serenity. I lived in an abusive home until last month, a foster home that is. I am a shy girl, who doesn't have many friends. The few I have, though, helped me. They tell me I have a great singing voice, and they were right. After all I did become discovered. I went through a lot of abuse and loss over the years. Some how, I managed to survive.
This is my story.

[Trigger warning! Mention of rape, swearing, and violence. If you are touchy or sensitive with any of these topics, please do not read this story! I don't want people getting upset because of a mention.]

Of all the things I expected to find there, it definitely wasn't her. All gorgeous smile and mesmerising eyes that made my heart race as if I'd just ran twenty lengths of the pitch. Serenity P.o.v "Justin how could you ever do something so foul like that?" I asked him as I felt the burning sensation in my eyes. Here comes the water works. He embarrassed me in the cafeteria. He told everyone I slept with him, and I gave him chlamydia. "You know what I want. Did you think this was going to last? I mean you're beautiful, but look at you. You're a mess. You're not shit. Why don't you start back cutting, and kill yourself! Get the fuck out of my face." Justin spat at me. His words burned deeply. "Y-y-you don't mean that." I told him as I tried to grab onto his hand. He pushed me back, an punched me in the eye. "Don't put your fucking hands on me. Damn Precious looking bitch. Now either you're going to give me the pussy, or you're going to run back to Malik. Hurry up my sloppy toppy appointment is waiting for me." He said. I don't like him to give him the most precious piece of me. I shook my head no, and headed for the door. I soon felt my hair being pulled he threw me on the chair. "Please don't do this Justin." I searched his eyes, and they was jet black. Honestly, he looks so different. Almost like he was on some type of drug. "Bitch I'm getting what I want today." He said. I felt something hit my head then I was knocked out. Will Serenity ever have a normal life? Will Serenity ever get her "White house, with the picket fence?" Or as most say "The American Dream." Read more to find out.

Being alone? Check. Being afraid? Check. Being abused? Check times 3. Honestly, my life wasn't this bad before, not until I ended in foster care... SIKE! My life was always bad. From the moment I was born, I lived with an abusive father who blamed me for my mother's death, and even I couldn't disagree with him. Here are a few questions I am constantly asked: 'Do I do well in school?' No, are you kidding me? The only subject I'm good at is Visual Arts. 'Do I have a kind and caring family?' No, I don't think I do. 'Do I have anyone who cares about me?' No, I'm a loner and socially awkward. 'Do I have privileges?' No, if you haven't understood the message yet, I live in an abusive household. Now, you might ask if there are any questions the answer is yes. I'll give you some. 'Do I want to die?' Yes, I sometimes do. 'Do I feel alone in this world?' Yes, always. 'Do I get a beating every day?' Yes. *** This is Amara Williams, a 13 year-old with average grades and no friends. What happens when her only guardian, her dad, is dead? What happens when she finds out that she has five older brothers who are not only strict and demanding, but also protective assholes? More importantly, what happens when she finds out that she was taught lies from the moment she was born?
