Built for the Storm: A Journey Through a Mind That Won't Sit Still
Sometimes, I feel like I was designed not to live - but just to survive. My brain doesn't crave joy, meaning, or legacy - it just tries to prevent crisis. It calculates food, money, safety. It panics. It runs. It hides. And somehow... it keeps missing life. I've spent years trying to understand why my mind behaves this way. Why it imagines catastrophes while standing still. Why it avoids the simplest task. Why it overthinks even brushing teeth, but can ride a cycle for 100 km in the rain without blinking. One day, when I was still, completely still... with no task to distract me... this strange feeling overtook me. The thought that maybe - just maybe - I am not supposed to design my own purpose. I looked up. And I said, silently: "God... if You made me this way... if You crafted this restless, impulsive, chaos-driven machine of a brain... then You must know where I fit. Use me. Don't let me rot in guilt and survival. Don't let me just float. You know this universe in ways I never can. You know every corner of it. So You must know the one place where this exact wiring of mine can become meaningful." This wasn't surrender from pain. Used to be/Formally known as 'Crazy' / 'Unstable' This is a practice story formed from an idea i've had for a while. I will attempt to put my thoughts into play, this story includes South Park because that is one of the only things i'm more comfortable with. I've had problems similar to this (extremely violent thoughts/actions), and my cousin has had them as well. So we are now getting better so anyway enjoy and give creative criticism. Future Author note (2026): My writing here is painfully bad but I can't bear to unpublish it because it's my legit my first(?) fanfic i wrote. Read at your own risk idk Shune Sorishida, comes from a different world. A world far greater than the twisted world of wonderland. He gets transported as he finds himself in a coffin. Making friends along the way, but also enemies. Although, he isn't alone, he has a little companion right by his side. Whom will stick with him to the bitter end! As he is from a different world, overblotting due to excessive use of magic doesn't apply to him. Even so, he still faces hardship on his journey. To some, on the outside, he's calm and collected. But on the inside lies many mysteries... but, let me tell you this, his impact on the twisted world of wonderland is huge. Its almost as if,... he was ꋊꏂ꒦ꏂꋪ ꇙ꒤ꉣꉣꄲꇙꏂ꒯ ꓄ꄲ ꏂꉧ꒐ꇙ꓄ ꒐ꋊ ꓄ꁝꏂ ꊰ꒐ꋪꇙ꓄ ꉣ꒒ꋬꉔꏂ. Blood in the Margins: a collection of different poems, unfinished potential
FINISHED AND COMPLEATED. Just poems, I suppose. Or maybe a scrapbook of scars. A chaotic collage of half-born stories, abandoned plots, and feelings too loud to ignore. This isn't a novel. It's a graveyard of unwritten books- stitched together with ink and impulse. A little trauma here, a little heartbreak there. Addiction. Bad parents. Dangerous love. The usual mess. I never claimed to be a poet, but pain has a way of teaching rhythm. And when the stories in my head refused to become chapters, they became verses instead. My father? A ghost in flesh. A man who cradled needles more tenderly than he ever held me. He is an addict. A lover of oblivion. And I, the daughter left behind in the smoke of his escape. Does that make me a girl with "daddy issues"? Or just a girl still learning how not to bleed from wounds she didn't choose? This book is for the overthinkers, the almost-authors, the ones who feel too much and write too little- until the words finally spill out like blood on the page. Welcome to the ride. There's no exit. But there's poetry in the wreckage. Author's Note I didn't set out to write a book. I set out to survive my own mind. This is what happens when you have too many stories, too many ghosts, and not enough discipline to finish a single novel. So instead, I wrote poems- or something like them. Fragments. Feelings. Draft Thought
This story is meant as journal for self-reflection purposes only. As someone whose emotions and thoughts are in constant chaos, I'm still grappling in this reality that I'm having a hard time to manage these intrusive thoughts that I often ruminate a lot. It's making me lose my mind and I'm struggling on how to articulate and express myself, but at least in here, I'm going to vent here. Feel free to exit this story if you don't like it. I'm just someone whose living in silence. You don't need to continue reading this one if it doesn't make sense to you. You know how I write things out of random and you might not understand some things. I feel chaotic inside that it's too hard to explain. Take note that this is not your typical story, this only contains words of personal essay which is based from daily experiences of the writer itself. And as a respect to the writer, refrain from commenting accusatory remarks and profanities. This story is entitled Draft Thought for a reason. A daily life reflection of thoughts, feelings and even random topics to talk about. An outlet to release the burdens placed on my mind, and as a way of expressing my own view on things. Fra is shaped by self-awareness, trauma, contradicting thoughts and feelings, and by being a failed nihilist all at once. He sees the world with unforgiving clarity and retells his experiences with a disgustingly honest, almost too-confessional voice; shameful thoughts, taboo urges, the parts that make us "bad" friends, and the desires we can't shake off. Therapy was supposed to fix him, yet all it ever did was make him more painfully aware of everything wrong. He knew the causes, the patterns, the diagnoses-none of it helped. He walked into every session already knowing the answers and walked out with nothing to do with them. A mind that understands itself too well and still can't heal is its own kind of hell. Despite wanting to be numb, he isn't numb enough to stop caring-yet not hopeful enough to start living the way he, or society, insists he should. Knowing exactly what's wrong yet having no idea what to do with that knowledge is only one of the many tortures his emotional intelligence has handed him.
