Well, I used a d20 I had handy and I ended up rolling a 10 and a 14. So here's my ~1500 words Military Sci-Fi/Erotica short fiction!

Intergalactic travel, aliens, and even powers are what the world becomes known for. There is still a normal, functioning society to account for though. Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014)
This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.Terminé
Of Ice and Snow
Lily is a snow witch with powerful magic and a quick temper. Not the best combination. But she keeps to herself, and the few people she lets get close know she has a good heart, and that's enough for her. She doesn't need any drama in her life. Except she never knows what to expect from her next-door neighbor, who is a mad scientist. Then there's her meddling family back at the North Pole. Minor irritations, but they may or may not trigger her blizzard-inducing rage from time to time, resulting in out-of-season snowstorms, snowbound towns, and confused meteorologists worldwide. Good thing she has a fairy godmother. Or is it? When a forbidden paranormal romance brings secret magic and an unspoken curse to light, the weight of the world lands on Lily's shoulders. "...I don't want to be with you", I sigh and even though I am crying, they are not tears of sadness, but relief. "What do you mean?". "I DO NOT LOVE YOU AND NEVER WILL!", I cried. "But I want to be with you. I want to have kids. I want to rule the omniverse by your side. I want you". "I'm sorry, but I don't. The voice in my head says no".
