Lucy is forced to go into hiding, Natsu coming along to help protect her. Throughout the story Lucy and Natsu question if they have feelings for each other, and at one point if they'll ever see each other again. Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014) autorstwa emmernemmer

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.

He reaches into his collar with two fingers and tugs it away from his sweaty neck. I pry into his presence until I can't any longer. He understood every damn word I just said to him, so his terrified eyes are piercing into mine. "What on Earth are you doing Adira?" he struggles to ask me. The fight against this gift is similar to the fight against mind control, except you have to battle your own urge for relief as well. After all this time I've spent seducing him, he should know exactly what I am now. -------------------------- 2102 is quiet the leap in time. Intergalactic travel, aliens, and even powers are what the world becomes known for. There is still a normal, functioning society to account for though. One ruled by an unfair leader that most of the country detests. When Adira Stefano finally gets her long awaited gift, she fears being forced into hiding. However, when she discovers someone that has faith in her, she realizes that true change is her new daunting temptation.

This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!

Here I go with another writing experiment. I joined The Fabulous Spec-Fic Smack Down by LayethTheSmackDown, which required me to write Speculative Fiction flash fiction, short stories, drabbles, and poetry inspired by prompts. If you're as unfamiliar with Speculative Fiction as I was when I started this, check out @ReshapeIt for more info. So, the writing experiment: - I'd never written Speculative Fiction. - Or flash fiction. - Or drabbles. - Or from an image prompt. Somehow, I survived the eliminations until round four, part one. I've decided to keep following the contest on my own, so as long as it's running, I'll keep adding chapters within the deadline based on the prompts provided. But I won't stop when the contest ends. This has been such a fun project, so I've decided to continue entering prompt-based contests and keep the story going as long as I can. :) Note: Word count varies with the application used. This story is sci-fi, romantic and a highly dramatic teen fiction about Amber and Ryan as we hear the tale of how two enemies turn into lovers as they struggle to survive for 20 days on a deserted planet... This tale tugs a few heart strings and has some bizarre moments. Please let me know what you think as this is the first story I've ever written/shared/finished and would love to hear some opinions! FREELANCER. BOOK ONE of the FREELANCER SERIES autorstwa JAJordan7221

Back in the late 1990's a great PC game came out called FREELANCER. It was an open galaxy adventure space game that had a good storyline. I spent untold hours flying through space in this game and I always thought it was ripe for a spinoff side story but I never pursued it. Nearly 30 years later I discovered a website called GOOD OLD GAMES where you could find and download many great games of yore. There I found FREELANCER. So I climbed back into the cockpit of a starfighter after so long and have enjoyed it even more than I did way back when. Once again the possibility of a side story presented itself and this time I have risen to the challenge. I have always been an avid reader of SCI-FI and I will be the first to tell you that I have blatantly used ideas from other sci-fi works in my story. I have also used names of real people and places to flesh out my narrative. And as a warning for those offended by sexual content, I have included some pretty erotic sexual segments in my story, so you may want to close your eyes as you read those parts. If you have ever enjoyed playing the FREELANCER PC game, you may enjoy my story. Let me know. As a side note to the story: In the story there is a space station named Lajes. In the following books I have changed the name from Lajes to Freeport Seven. Sorry if it causes any confusion.
