She was never the type to blend in. While most freshmen entered college wide-eyes and eager to belong, she walked through the halls with calculated steps-measured, deliberate, detached. Her name floated around in whispers-smart, masungit, matray, too opinionated for someone so young. But behind the silence of her stares and sharpness of her words was a mind that never stopped thinking, questioning, wondering.

She has her own world, and in that world, everything had to make sense. Her pens were arranged by shade, her notes bordered with neat margins, her schedule airtight. Her hair-long, wavy, untouched by trends-fell over her shoulders like a quiet rebellion. She liked her solitude. She needed it. Kasi sa totoo lang, the noise of the world made it harder to hear her own thoughts.
She was complicated-but only because she refused to be simple. Wise-but only because she had been quiet long enough to observe. Strong-but only because she had learned to rely on no one.

"No one could understand," she whispered herself, not out of bitterness, but out of resigned kind of truth. Maybe people were never really meant to understand each other fully. Maybe we were all just wandering minds trying to survive the noise.

Until one day.
Someone arrived.

Someone who didn't try to understand her-that someone just saw her. Not the version she carefully curated. Not the labels people stuck to her name.

Just her.

And for the first time, her world-the one she so carefully built-began to crack open, just enough to let something in. Or maybe, someone.

Some stories bloom in sunshine. This one took root in shadows. For every beginning is not loud. Some slip in quietly-like a secret. Like a glance held a second too long. Like a name you weren't supposed to remember... but did. At Regalia Reynolds Global University, appearances were everything. Beneath the gleaming towers, designer labels, and curated smiles, truths were buried deep-hidden behind last names that weighed like crowns. Prisha Goyal didn't belong to that world. Not by blood. Not by bank balance. She was a girl with a past too heavy for her age, and dreams stitched together by hope and resilience. She wasn't looking to be noticed-not by the elite who ruled the halls with old money and sharper smiles. But life has a habit of unraveling even the most carefully woven plans. The Four Princes didn't need new players in their world. Yet fate introduced her anyway. To most, they were unreachable. To her, they became something else entirely. Enemies. Friends. Confidants. Strangers. And eventually... something far more complicated. As friendships formed in the unlikeliest corners, and laughter echoed through shared dorm kitchens and unspoken pain, the lines began to blur. Loyalties tested through whispered betrayals. Between affection and obsession. Truth and illusion. Trust and betrayal. And somewhere between the stolen glances, cruel misunderstandings, and gentle touches that meant far too much, something deeper began to bloom. Each thread Prisha tugged unraveled another mystery-about her past, about those she called friends, and about the man whose eyes always lingered just a little too long. Because love doesn't arrive in declarations. Sometimes, it creeps in-slowly, silently-until it wraps around your heart like ivy. And when the masks fall, when the truths finally surface, the question remains: Who will still be standing? P.S: It is a slow burn romance

One girl, haunted by demons she never asked for. One girl, holding onto a dream with bleeding hands. One girl, clinging to a life she never was supposed to survive. One girl-and one infuriating woman she was never meant to meet. Aurora Winters, 18, soft-spoken and sweet like spring rain, begins her second last first day of senior year. The wreckage of a car crash last Christmas stole what little safety she had left-leaving her in the bitter care of an aunt who never wanted her and a man who only knows cruelty. Bruised, quiet, alone and unraveling, Aurora is trying to survive the storm. But survival becomes complicated when a certain woman enters the picture. Valentina M. Harlow, 37, new to this part of town, new to the school, old to the weight of the world. Once a sweet girl who ached to be seen, now a woman shaped by silence and cold resolve. Sharp-tongued, guarded, emotionally untouchable, manipulative and entirely disinterested in attachments. She is the oldest daughter who walked away-from blood and businesses, from love, from everything that broke her. It's been seven years since she last let herself feel. And she likes it that way. Until Aurora. What begins as uneasy glances and sharp conversations becomes something far harder to ignore. Valentina sees the pain in the girl's eyes. The bruises beneath the surface. And suddenly, the woman who feels nothing is faced with a choice: walk away as she always has, or reach out-risking everything. This is a tale of longing and danger, where hearts shatter, wounds heal, and reopen. Again and again. A story of two women who were never meant to orbit, yet crash into each other anyway. A story of it all. Of longing that feels like ruin. Of aching that feels like home. Of broken things that refuse to stay broken. A slow unraveling, a dangerous pull. A love that could save-or destroy-them both. Maybe they'll piece themselves back together. And set the world on fire, together.

Y/N Y/L/N was the kind of girl people warned you about. Not because she was dangerous, but because she didn't care what anyone thought. She wore her scars like armor, laughed in the face of rules, and somehow always ended up in trouble without really meaning to. The truth was, life hadn't been kind to her-so she stopped being kind back. But even with all that edge, there was one person who saw her for who she really was: the Nevermore principal. The one person who didn't flinch when Y/N raised her voice or broke another hallway rule. She was calm, collected, and steady-the exact opposite of Y/N's chaos. And somehow, they fit. Quiet nights turned into long talks, long talks turned into something softer. Something real. Y/N didn't fear much-she'd been through hell and back already. But death? That was different. That was final. And for once in her wild, messed-up life, she had something worth staying for. Someone worth staying for. Will it end? She didn't know. Life had a way of pulling things apart when you least expected it. But for now, she held on. Because for once, she wasn't fighting alone. This was written in 2022, I updated every chapter with better writing and more detailed scenes.
