The Second Giant War was gruesome. With only 3 of the 7 left alive, they demigods of prophecy left the camps. They were unable, or maybe just unwilling, to be in the places where their friends once walked. They chose to escape the world of demigods while they still could. They wanted to try for normal so that maybe, one day, they could forget any of it ever happened. They wanted peace and safety. Nico... well, Nico had other ways of coping. ------------- Nico had had a long life. 16 years old, plus however many had passed in that cured casino had left little joy in his life. He had lost his grandparents, his mother, Bianca, his friends, and then Hazel... he missed her more than he could bare. He only knew his sister for around a year before he had lost her, and not a single day had passed in the last two years that he hadn't thought of her. He couldn't go to either camp or the underworld without feeling like his chest would explode from the pain. He knew she was in a better place. However, things take a different turn when Cirrea and Derek finally find each other, only for Derek to get shot and Cirrea to be exiled by killing herself. As they wake up with different bodies, they remember what happened but not their time spent together. When they thought they had gone back in time, they were just dreaming. They were still in their own time, but they didn't know that until they helped their friends. When they got back to their own times, she knew she still had her powers, but Derek didn't.
