It was the stormiest night Godric's Hollow had seen in years when Lily Potter gave birth to twins. Amid flashes of lightning and crashes of thunder, two cries broke through the chaos - one strong and sharp, the other soft and oddly melodic.
Harry James Potter came first.
Roseline Lily Potter came second.
A red-haired, green-eyed miracle, Roseline was the spitting image of her mother - but with a strange, celestial glow in her gaze that unsettled even Dumbledore. When she opened her eyes for the first time, the air in the room shifted. The phoenix perched on the window sill, a creature no one had seen before, let out a resonant cry and landed beside her.
"She summoned it," James whispered.
"She's not just a witch," Lily said, breathless. "She's something else."
And unbeknownst to anyone... far away in a dark, snake-ridden manor, Tom Riddle - Lord Voldemort - felt something stir in his soul.
A whisper.

"Rosy?"
"Powerful... Very powerful," The Sorting hat murmured. "You have her soul, don't you? Yes... hers. The one who even made him choose love..."
Roseline didn't understand.
"Gryffindor!" it finally shouted.
From that moment, her legend began.
And when she walked past him that evening, her phoenix Agni landing on her shoulder, even Snape paused in his stride.
He saw it too.
His heart clenched.
"Merlin," he whispered to himself. "She looks exactly like her."
